About Rawcovery
The Goals
Rawcovery is a non-profit community project. The aims of Rawcovery are to:
- provide inspiration and hope for people in recovery wishing to heal through natural means and the use of living foods nutrition.
- raise awareness in the general community to the incredible healing powers of raw food nutrition.
- empower people regarding their choices about health.
- provide an opportunity for people who have benefited from raw food nutrition to contribute to the wellbeing of others through sharing their stories of recovery.
- create wellbeing, and longevity in our communities.
The Rawcovery Project
A milestone of the Rawcovery project is the creation of a website of over 1000 stories of recovery from people all over the world. We aim to achieve this by 5 June 2009. We intend for the Rawcovery project to be ongoing after this date and for the team to continue to collect stories to well above 1000 and dramatically increase the profile of raw food nutrition in the community.
The stories of recovery can be told through writing (with or without pictures) or through videos. They do not need to follow a particular format; they may be a couple of paragraphs, a couple of pages, extracts from your diary, question and answer format or even a poem. Don't worry! You don't have to be a fabulous writer! No need to be extraordinarily eloquent; just write from your heart. This is an opportunity to encourage, uplift, above all to offer a little inspiration to those who are in discomfort, perhaps even pain, either emotionally or physically.
The Rawcovery site will be extensively linked to other websites including mainstream health websites, natural health sites, as well as sites that focus on raw food nutrition.
